Jonathan Newton, MD, PhD

Dr. Jonathan Newton came to us from Northside Hospital where for three years he provided pain management and anesthesia services at one of the busiest and most renowned hospitals in the state. Dr. Newton earned both his M.D. and his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the National Institutes of Health sponsored Medical Scientist Training Program.

After completing his internship in internal medicine at UAB, Dr. Newton carried out his anesthesiology training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Thereafter, Dr. Newton returned to UAB for his pain management fellowship. During this fellowship training, Dr. Newton worked with experts in the field of spine care and pain management.

Dr. Newton has continued learning and growing in this field by attending multiple workshops and courses since completion of his official training in order to apply the latest in therapies for the care of his patients. Dr. Newton lives in Roswell with his wife, two boys, dog, and chickens.
